On the 23rd of November 2019 the first in a series of 6 topic-specific workshops took place at the general secretariat of the DRK as part of the research project WAKE.
It’s topic were the cooperation between different aid organisations and civil society actors during the refugee crisis 2015/16. The workshop was organised and executed by Wake project partner Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (German Red Cross).
After a kick-off presentation the participants examined different issues, especially with regard to available means of support and the transferability of experiences made. Furthermore, colleagues of the TH Köln gave a short input on knowledge management and discussed with all participants wich forms of knowledge management were used and which would be helpful in the daily work of the participants.
Besides numerous new insights, follow-up questions were formulated. The insights gained during the workshop will serve as a basis in preparing next year’s quantitatve examination.
